The first Chewbacca in the POTF2 line was supposed to be
with real hair. After different methods were used and different
kinds of sample were made, Kenner found that the hair was very unstable,
they fell off when being scratched. Also the figure could not pass the
safety regulation test for the hair got fire easily. Finally, they
made the Chewbacca we see now.
